William & Levana
~ How They Met ~
In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, William and Levana reunited on the ITB campus after William returned from a student exchange program in Japan, while Levana was preparing for her graduation. During their free time, they had casual conversations and began to get to know each other on a deeper level. From there, a spark grew—one they never expected would be the beginning of their story.
~ The Relationship ~
William and Levana officially started dating in November 2021, shortly before William began working in Japan. Despite being in a long-distance relationship for three years, they stayed closely connected through nightly video calls and meaningful reunions. From traveling together in Japan and Malaysia to culinary adventures, every moment spent together felt truly special.
~ The Engagement ~
After a long journey filled with patience and love, they became more certain about their future together. A family gathering in August 2024 marked the beginning of a deeper commitment. With the blessing of their parents, they held a Sangjit ceremony in May 2025—a traditional engagement to symbolize their next step toward marriage.
